This 19th C reversible petticoat is a pretty red and brown
cotton on one side and a nice brown cotton on the other side.
The quilting is treadle stitched and the hem, opening in back,
and the tuck in the skirt are all hand stitched. It features
a pleated waist with a self tie closing and the hem is finished
with a rust colored braid. Except for some wear on the brown
side close to the waistband this petticoat is in remarkable
condition. The petticoat is 35 " long, 17 " wide at the hem,
and the waistband is 30" wide. SOLD
